Ryan has taught the subject of the National Electrical Code in several states. His clients include some of the biggest and well-respected associations in the electrical industry, as well as colleges, universities, Forbes 500 companies, power plants, electrical contractors, cities, counties, labor boards, and a host of others.
Ryan has written several books covering the National Electrical Code, and has edited dozens more. His Comprehensive Guide to the 2017 NEC is a three volume work of over 1,500 pages and nearly 2,000 photographs. His 2020 NEC Changes book is expected to be available October 1, 2019.
Ryan provides services such as expert witness consultation, NEC consultation, plan review, and similar services. He has offered legal consultation on multiple electrocution deaths and injuries.
